SUMMARY:Optimizing Sustainable Scheduled Waste Management: A Risk-Based Approach | 2 CPD | 16 May 2025\, (Remote Online Training)
DESCRIPTION:About The Event.\nAs inspection program is part of requirements for scheduled waste management facility\, the Competent Persons need to perform inspection at the scheduled waste management facility. \nHowever\, lack of knowledge and experience to perform the inspection is the main challenge faced by the competent person at their workplace. \nThe course covers both the overview of scheduled waste management and understanding of wastes generated in the premises. It also covers the non-compliance that may happen in the premises and help to understand the links between inspection and non-compliance. Also\, by incorporating the NC into the Environmental Aspects & Impacts\, Risk Assessment and Risk Control table\, the inspection can be prioritized based on the risk level. Lastly\, the inspection frequency is evolving and the limited resource can be focused on high-risk NC areas. \nIn conclusion\, the participants will understand the environmental and economic benefits of RBI implementation in their scheduled waste management facility. In the other hand\, the participants will understand the use of RBI for inspection and prioritization. \nLEARNING OUTCOMES\nThe course provides participants with the knowledge of: \n\nComprehend the Scheduled Waste Management. Understanding waste characteristics and properties.\nComprehend Non-compliance in Scheduled Waste Handling. Understand waste management and purpose of inspection and identify non-compliance.\nPerform Risk Based Inspection (RBI) by tabulating non-compliance and Environmental Aspects and Impacts. Perform Risk Assessment and Risk Control. Determine inspection frequency and reassessment time frame.\n\nDownload Virtual Event Brochure \nCheck out our ongoing promotion today! \nView MySheqa upcoming event for this year! \nRelated Link : EiMAS CPD Hours Training\, DOSH CEP Training\, CepSWAM\, CePIETSO (BP)\, CePIETSO (PCP) CepPBFO\, CePSO\, CePPOME\, CePSTPO
