ABOUT THE COURSE
Wastewater treatment plant needed performance monitoring by competent person to ensure the effluent compliance in accordance to Department of Environment Malaysia (DOE) Standard.
However, lack of knowledge and experience to perform the inspection is the main challenge faced by the competent person at their workplace.
The course will cover principles and guidelines for improvement of activated sludge process (Biological Process) followed by problems encountered in system and symptoms and efficient method Identification of microbial community in activated sludge process and Control measures for activated sludge process for long term and short term.
In conclusion, the participants will understand and able to identify good microbes in activated sludge process which helps to carry out root cause analysis for upset conditions for effluent standard compliance.
