12 EiMAS CPD Hours | 20th & 21st March 2023 | HRDCorp Claimable Course
ABOUT THE COURSE
An air pollution control system (APCS) is essential to control particle or gases emission from the risk of air pollution in Malaysia. Some of the critical factors that are often missed out by operational staff during handling APCS are impurity concentration which will be related to the cycle of concentration, air velocity, and fugitive emission from the production room.
This 2-day course discusses the fundamentals of technical data collection, analysis, and practical ways to plan the preventive action plan. Besides, it will also address the air velocity balance and system effectiveness monitoring. The course will share some real case studies of how operational error and ducting velocity and suggest its counter solutions.
At the end of this 2-day program, participants will be able to;
- Identify design error or system failure and its possible counter solution.
- Understand the concept of total pressure, velocity press, and static press.
- Identify the area of improvement in APCS by using volumetric balance and fugitive emission equation.
- Learn from real case studies on specific APCS issues.
