About Managing Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS) For Sustainable Pollution Control
Managing Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS) is extremely critical to ensure that the Environmental Facility is operating at optimum condition and hence ensure that the system complies with the Environmental Quality (Industrial Effluent) Regulations 2009.
However, if a company fails to employ a Competent Person for Industrial Effluent Treatment System (CePIETSO) and fails to implement a proper IETS management program, it will result in poor maintenance of the Environmental Facility and hence result in non-compliance.
The course will cover the general descriptions of Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS) and the types of IETS system. It also covers the IETS design as well as the IETS process and establishment of the Environmental Monitoring Committee. The course will guide the design of environmental checklists for data collection as well as a chart plotting for performance analysis.
Eventually, it shows how the Environmental Monitoring Committee Report should be prepared and discussed. Also, generating the Environmental Report and submission through Online Environmental Report (OER) to comply with Environmental Quality (Industrial Effluent) Regulations 2009.
In conclusion, the participants will understand the importance of having an effective Industrial Effluent Treatment system (IETS) management.
Participants will gain a better understanding of the IETS system, design, process, data collection, and chart plotting and finally prepare the report and conduct the EMC meeting Discuss the IETS issues and seek EMC members feedback and agreement on the improvement suggestions.
Finally, ensure that the IETS operates effectively and efficiently and is in compliance with Environmental Quality (Industrial Effluent) Regulations 2009.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
At the end of this 2-day program, participants will be able to;
- Comprehend the IETS systems and types of IETS.
- Study of IETS design, process and establish of an effective EPMC and ERCMC to discuss and monitor the environmental facilities performance.
- Prepare Check List for data collection, analyze the performance, prepare the EPMC and ERCMC reports, and conduct EPMC and ERCMC meetings.
