The effective management and control of Air Pollution Control System (APCS) is extremely critical to ensure that the air release to atmosphere and environment is clean and the system is in compliance with the Environmental Quality (Clean Air) Regulation 2014.
However, failure in maintaining the APCS system properly will result in dusty and toxic air being released into atmosphere.

This course provides the participants with knowledge of an APCS System particularly on Filter Bag System (FBS). It covers both design and operation aspects. Bag Filter should be properly designed in order for it to work proficiently. The course covers design in ducting system, bags, fan and motor. It covers the design features and aspects to avoid for efficient operation. The course also describes components in a Bag Filter system, inclusive of how operation and maintenance of the system can be carried with the use of check sheets. The course will enhance the participants knowledge on effective design, performance monitoring and maintenance strategies on Bag Filter System.
In conclusion, the participants will finally comprehend and able to handle the Bag Filter System effectively and efficiently and ensure in compliance with the EQ (Clean Air) Regulation 2014.
